Description

What is it?

Releev™ contains Benzalkonium chloride (an organic chloride salt that is an antimicrobial skin cleanser, Viracea® (a proprietary blend of benzalkonium chloride and phytochemicals such as echinacea,) methyl and propyl paraben and potassium sorbate.)

This is a remedy for cold sores, fever blisters and other related outbreaks. Tests show that it "kills" both HSV1 and HSV2 in cultured human cells. This is the virus that causes cold sores.

99% of people (300 people tested) using this product have reported "pain of cold sore lesions relieved in minutes, lesions resolved within 24 hours." "When applied at the first signs of outbreak (tingling, itching, etc.,) the outbreak never occurred." Results may, of course, vary.

Cautions

Not for ingestion. May be used inside the mouth. Use only as directed. Not for use in yeast caused infections. Do not bandage tightly. Do not use a cotton applicator. If condition worsens or symptoms persist for more than 7 days, consult a physician. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL DURING USE AND OUTBREAKS.

May be stored in refrigerator for longer shelf life.

Suggested Use

Adults and children 2 years of age or older: Clean affected area, do not use soap, then dry. Apply liberal coating of Releev by rubbing and pressing it directly into affected area. Allow to dry. Keep coated by reapplying 3-4 times daily. Apply Releev at first signs of tingling and itching signaling an outbreak. May tingle on contact. Children under2 years of age, consult a physician. Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children. In case of accidental ingestion seek professional assistance or contact a poison control center immediately. As with any drug, if you are pregnant or nursing a baby, seek the advice of a health professional before using this product.
