What is it?

Theralac contains in each capsule:

Lactobacillus paracasei 5 Billion CFU (Strain F-19)
Lactobacillus rhamnosus 2 Billion CFU (Strain LR-44)
Lactobacillus acidophilus 10 Billion CFU (Strain LA-1)
Bifidobacterium lactis 10 Billion CFU (Strain BL-34)
Bifidobacterium lactis 3 Billion CFU (Strain Bi-07)
Lactoferrin (milk) 20 mg

CFU=Colony Forming Units

Other Ingredients: Cellulose, Sodium Alginate, Sodium Phosphate, Silica, Grape Skin Extract, HPMC (capsule), Sunflower Lecithin + Oleic Acid (LactoStim, patent pending), Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source).

Probiotics work by competitively excluding harmful microorganisms from gut surfaces. When Theralac's probiotics are present, harmful microorganisms can't occupy the same space. Probiotics manufacture lactic acid, a food acid that hinders the growth of bacteria. Each lot of Theralac® is pre-tested for lactic acid production which, along with colony forming units (CFU, a measure of live strength) and purity, is published by lot# at http://www.theralac.com.

Big CFU numbers on a probiotic bottle mean nothing if they are killed in the stomach. Theralac®â€™s probiotics survive. Cautions

Theralac can be held at room temperature (65°-75° F) for up to 30 days without loss in viability. Keep bottle tightly closed and out of direct sunlight. Best refrigerated.
