According to the manufacturer:

"Vital Cell contains a proprietary blend of herbal extracts shown to improve microcirculation and blood flow, reduce plasma viscosity, repair capillary damage, and restore internal organ function while promoting removal of metabolic waste products from cells...

Traditional Chinese Medicine recognizes that human aging is marked by a tendency towards increased blood disorders and impaired circulation, and the key to the proper functioning of bodily organs is achieved by optimizing the performance of the microcirculatory (microcapillary) system...

To evaluate Vital Cell and estimate its effect on microcirculation, Chinese researchers conducted a clinical study of 150 patients ranging in age from 55 to 89 years. Test subjects took the product for a one month period. The trial found statistically significant improvements of such common symptoms as chest tightness, chest pains, heart palpitations, coughing, shortness of breath, dizziness, lower limb edema, lack of appetite, poor mood and poor complexion.

Researchers also found significant improvements in clinical measurements, showing a reduction and regulation of blood pressure, reduced ECG abnormalities, lower viscosity of whole blood plasma, improved capillary microcirculation, increased immunity, increased synthesis of plasma albumin, and improvements in the plasma albumin/plasma globulin ratio.

Interpretation of the clinical results indicate that Vital Cell possesses the ability to expand coronary arteries and the arterioles of the brain and lungs, to raise T-cell immunity, and to promote the synthesis and metabolism of proteins. The formula should have excellent supportive actions on such elderly disorders as insufficient blood supply to the brain, coronary heart disease, chronic bronchitis, and hypoproteinemia."

A study was performed with 20 rabbits divided into two groups. One group (B) was the control group and the other group (A) was given Vital Cell for two years (old age for a rabbit.) The results were remarkable:

"In Group B, thymus glands, womb and testis displayed noticeable shrinkage. Coronary sclerosis, myocardial focal fibrosis, lipofuscin deposits and nephronal decrease were common. The use of an electron microscope revealed patent degenerative changes in the nucleoli and mitochondria of hepatic cells and convoluted tubule cells, accompanied by lipofuscin deposits.

In Group A, fewer pathologic changes were apparent. In comparison to Group B, the organic functions in Group A were normal...
