What is it?

Each sublingual tablet contains Pregnenolone 25 mg. Other ingredients are mannitol, cellulose, silica and vegetable stearate.

If DHEA is the "mother hormone," then Pregnenolone is the matriarch of the clan. Although it is not a steroid hormone, it is the precursor (originator of) DHEA, progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, cortisone, and aldosterone. Like DHEA, Pregnenolone production in the body declines with age.

Pregnenolone has a wide variety of beneficial effects, mostly as a general anti-stress metabolite.

Cautions

Pregnenolone is virtually nontoxic and is safe even at doses of 1000 mg. Women may prefer Pregnenolone to DHEA as it has fewer potential side-effects. It also more readily converts to progesterone.

Suggested Use
