What is it?

L-Carnitine is a vitamin-like substance made from L-Lysine. It is structurally related to choline. Each tablet contains 250 mg. Inert ingredients include cellulose, magnesium stearate, vegetable stearine, calcium carbonate, and silica.

L-Carnitine is essential for cellular energy. It transports essential fatty acids across cell membranes where they can be burned for fuel in the cellular mitochondria. The degree of Carnitine availability determines the ability of the mitochondria to burn calories and give the body energy.
