landmark ruling, Pearson v. Shalala, ordered FDA to allow claims for
dietary supplements backed by credible, yet inconclusive scientific
evidence.  For the past three years, FDA has refused to follow that
order only to be sued by clients of this firm again and again.

Today FDA abandoned its prior position and agreed to implement Pearson
fully.  Indeed, FDA announced that it would apply the decision not only
to dietary supplements but also to conventional foods.  This will mean
that far more information about the actual and potential health benefits
of dietary supplements and foods will reach consumers than ever before.
The decision is nothing short of revolutionary.

The firm Emord & Associates represented the successful Plaintiffs in
Pearson v. Shalala and those who have challenged FDA's failure to
implement the decision.  The firm also filed comments in a recent First
Amendment notice and comment proceeding at FDA recommending many of the
changes now brought about by the FDA's action.

Emord says:  "Today's decision is a momentous victory for those who
cherish freedom.  As never before, companies will be able to inform
consumers of the disease risk reducing and preventive effects of certain

Great news in the continual battle for freedom. According to a press release by the attorneys who have been battling the FDA for our first amendment rights:

WASHINGTON, B.C.-On December 18, 2002, FDA Commissioner Mark McClellan
announced a major initiative to make available more information
concerning the effects of dietary supplements and foods on the
prevention of disease.  The decision is an abrupt departure from the
agency's long held view that no nutrient-disease claims should be
allowed for foods or dietary supplements unless proven to a near
conclusive degree.  In 1999, the United States Court of Appeals in a
landmark ruling, Pearson v. Shalala, ordered FDA to allow claims for
dietary supplements backed by credible, yet inconclusive scientific
evidence.  For the past three years, FDA has refused to follow that
order only to be sued by clients of this firm again and again.

Today FDA abandoned its prior position and agreed to implement Pearson
fully.  Indeed, FDA announced that it would apply the decision not only
to dietary supplements but also to conventional foods.  This will mean
that far more information about the actual and potential health benefits
of dietary supplements and foods will reach consumers than ever before.
The decision is nothing short of revolutionary.

The firm Emord & Associates represented the successful Plaintiffs in
Pearson v. Shalala and those who have challenged FDA's failure to
implement the decision.  The firm also filed comments in a recent First
Amendment notice and comment proceeding at FDA recommending many of the
changes now brought about by the FDA's action.

Emord says:  "Today's decision is a momentous victory for those who
cherish freedom.  As never before, companies will be able to inform
consumers of the disease risk reducing and preventive effects of certain
foods and dietary supplements.  Consumers, in turn, will be able to
modify their food choices to improve their health and longevity.  There
may be no action more important for the health and welfare of American
consumers than the one taken by Commissioner Mark McClellan and Chief
Counsel Dan Troy.  This is a wonderful holiday gift for the American
people."

This is one bright ray of hope in an increasingly dark and oppressed world.

Sulfonil was one of our most popular products. It reliably stopped the craving for nicotine in many people. Then it disappeared as the rights were sold to another company that makes Biocrave, their version. Biocrave is an MLM product and relatively expensive which made it far less popular than Sulfonil. The good news is that Sulfonil is back.

SOD or Superoxide Dismutase is almost legendary in alternative medicine circles. Quencher of the infamous Superoxide radical, it has been injected into joints and thought to be critical to determining the rate of aging. In animal species, the more SOD in their bodies, the longer they live. So important is SOD, one of the body's major antioxidants, that many companies have come out with an oral form despite the fact that taken orally, it is destroyed in the stomach. Now Thorne Research has finally marketed the first orally active SOD called Glioxidase.

Immune stimulation is an important part of healing and preventing infections, cancer, etc. Arabinogalactan is an immunostimulant with many important features. The best aspect of it is that it is a sweet, water soluble powder, which means that it can be mixed in water, juice or food and given to children, who often can't take capsules or tablets. The product is called Arabinex.

With Kava Kava under suspicion by some, other choices are important for anxiety. Our newest is called PRO Calm and it is unique. It is made from a decapeptide isolated from milk peptides that showed in vitro and in vivo activity equivalent to diazepam but without the side effects.

No specific objections to any claims were noted but the threat remains. Accordingly, we have removed information but not products from this site until we consult with an attorney about how best to proceed. We are still in business!

Our philosophy is and has always been the same as our founding fathers, that commercial speech is protected by our inalienable rights as free citizens. We have included information here from many sources ranging from books, journals, internet sites and manufacturers. We have also included privately communicated information. We have done this because it is your right to know. If someone out there was helped by a nutriceutical, you may be helped, too. We have not made up any of this information. Nor have we tried to hype the good and hide the bad. We have tried to rate information according to its credibility and included appropriate cautions. In short, we have treated our customers as intelligent, free adults capable of making their own decisions to try products and even to experiment with the knowledge that nothing works for everyone but you don't know until you try. 1. Policosanol is an octacosanol derivative that is better than the "statin" drugs for cholesterol. Not only does it do what they do, it does much more without dangerous side-effects. Read all about it.

2. Lactoferrin is useful in high doses for pancreatic cancer and many other things. The preferred form is apolactoferrin which is not bound to iron. This is the only such product currently available. We still have Laktoferrin with Colostrum for more normal use.

Apparently there is some controversy about the best form of the Sterol/Sterolin complex to take. We have had Moducare but have been asked to carry the competing product RevivAll so we are doing so. Read both monographs to make your decision.

We have also had reports of drastic detoxifications with Primal Defense so we are publishing the "Protocol for sensitive or very weakened immune system, or those with extreme allergies or autoimmune disorders using Primal Defense, Perfect Food, and RevivAll together."

Rexall has informed us that their product Bios Life 2 cannot be advertized on the net. Although telling an independent distributor how he or she can advertize seems peculiar, at the very least, we are complying and will no longer stock the product. Bios Life 2 was a good product and we are evaluating replacements. For the time being we recommend Colodyne from Life Plus as our fiber. Go to the MLM page (at the bottom) for more information.

Two new products have been added. Laktoferrin with Colostrum is a sort of immune system in a capsule and a veritable medicine chest. L-Carnitine is an anticatabolic substance that also boosts energy. Since both are useful for so many conditions, many conditions pages have been updated.

People have asked about green drinks. In response we now stock ProGreens, one of the best and most complete super foods available. Another new product is Branch Chained Amino Acids (BCAA.) BCAA's are excellent for regenerating livers and building muscle.

Additionally, the page on Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia has been updated with news on the relationship of vitamin B12 and homocysteine in this condition.

The title page has been revamped to make it easier to use. The hit counter still doesn't work right and the search function is unreliable. I don't know why. The ISP says it isn't their fault so I place the blame on another buggy Microsoft product.
