PureGar with EDTA

by Life Extension

WHAT IS IT?

PureGar with EDTA contains Pure-Gar garlic (Allium sativum) extract 800 mg (standardized to 10,000 ppm allicin) and 100 mg Ethylene-Diamine-Tetra-Acetic acid (EDTA,) an amino acid. "Virtually odor free." Other ingredients are gelatin and water.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

Garlic is a veritable medicine chest of benefits. EDTA is a heavy metal chelator.

CAUTIONS

Do not use EDTA is you have a kidney disorder. Regular blood testing to monitor kidney function, blood mineral levels and platelet aggregation is suggested if you take EDTA for more than 40 days. Avoid garlic for a week prior to surgery and afterwards because of its "blood thinning" ability. It should not be taken with warfarin (Coumadin™) or other anticoagulants.

Oral chelation therapy should only be conducted under the supervision of a physician or knowledgeable health professional.

See Disclaimer.

DOSE

For health maintenance, take 2 capsules with the heaviest meal of the day. For oral chelation (after heavy metals) take 12 capsules per day for 40 days.

NHC sells bottles of 200 capsules of Pure Gar Garlic with EDTA for $18.00. The suggested retail price is $24.00.
