Carnitine Synergy

by Designs for Health

WHAT IS IT?

Carnitine Synergy is a combination of L-Carnitine tartrate 400 mg and Acetyl- L-Carnitine 100 mg per capsule. Other ingredients are silicon dioxide, vegetable cellulose and water.

Note: We have three forms of this substance.

L-Carnitine is a foundational carnitine supplement.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine is meant to primarily affect the brain.

Carnitine Synergy is for people over 40 or those with health issues amenable to Carnitine.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

L-Carnitine is essential for cellular energy. It transports essential fatty acids across cell membranes where they can be burned for fuel in the cellular mitochondria. The degree of Carnitine availability determines the ability of the mitochondria to burn calories and give the body energy. Carnitine is like the engineer on a steam locomotive who shovels coal into the boiler. The faster and harder he shovels the faster the train will go. Robert Crayhon considers it to be the body's premier energizer.

The prescription drug Carnitor, is L-Carnitine and is prescribed for low energy levels.
