L-Threonine

WHAT IS IT?


L-Threonine is an amino acid typically found in the heart, skeletal muscle and the nervous system. Do not confuse it with L-Theanine from green tea, a different substance. Each capsule contains L-Threonine 500 mg with gelatin, cellulose and vegetable stearate.

WHAT DOES IT DO?


Thisamino acid is important in the formation of collagen and elastin. In combination with L-Aspartic Acid and L-Methionine it supports liver function through its lipotropic action (removes fats.) It also helps control nervous system activity.

L-Threonine is also a precursor (building block) of glycine synthesis in the spinal cord and is essential for a healthy nervous system.

CAUTIONS


Note: If you take the drug Baclofen do not suddenly discontinue it or (though rare) seizures or hallucinations may occur. If you want to try L-Threonine, talk to your doctor first.
