WHAT IS IT? Taurine is an amino acid in which many people are deficient. It's found in meat but not in vegetables. It is nonessential and can be manufactured from cysteine, another amino acid that is even rarer in diets. Each capsule contains 1000 mg of Taurine. Other ingredients include rice flour, magnesium stearate, gelatin and water.
WHAT DOES IT DO? Taurine normalizes the electrical activity of the heart muscle. It also has a calming effect on the brain.

DOSE The usual dose is one capsule daily. Heart or epilepsy patients should take 1 capsule 3 times daily.
