Petadolex

WHAT IS IT?


Petadolex is a standardized high potency (30:1) lipophilic extract of the rhizome (root) of the Butterbur plant (Petasites hybridis.) Each capsule contains 50 mg.

WHAT DOES IT DO?


Petadolex is a migraine headache prophylactic. It is anti-convulsive, pain-alleviating, and relaxing.It may also have anti-inflammatory and antihistiminic effects.

No side-effects have been noted. The usual cautions with pregnancy or lactation apply, of course.

DOSE


The subjects in the study took 1 capsule twice daily with meals. A recent study showed that some individuals respond better to 150 mg (3 capsules.) The results from this study were reported at 4 months.
