Maximizer is a digestive enzyme supplement. Here are the ingredients and their function. 2 capsules contain:

Protease (endo and exo)	80 mg	Cleaves single amino acids from the ends (exo) and interior (endo) of peptide chains.
Acid stable protease	24 mg	Works in extreme acid conditions when other proteases have quit.
Amylase (alpha and beta)	124 mg	Both cleave the 1-4 bonds to free glucose molecules from the ends of polymers.
Lipase 8000	44 mg	Contains 25 different lipases to break down fats and oils into fatty acids.
Gluco-Amylase	38 mg	Cleaves the 1-6 bonds to debranch polymers so that the alpha and beta's can get at the 1-4 bonds.
Alpha-Galactosidase	10 mg	Breaks down melibose, raffinose and stachyose sugars that are reponsible for excess gas in the digestive system.
Invertase	4 mg	Breaks down cane and beet sugars.
Maltase	50 mg	Breaks down Maltose.
Actinidin	20 mg	A protease from Kiwi fruit that shows significant activity against wheat products.
Xylanase	20 mg	Breaks down xylan sugars found in plants such as corn and other grains.
Cellulase (endo and exo)	84 mg	Cleaves the beta 1-4 bonds randomly along a cellulose strand (endo) and at the ends (exo.)
Pectinase	24 mg	Breaks down pectin fruits.
Lactase	6 mg	Breaks down lactose in dairy products to more soluble sugars.
Mannanase	20 mg	Breaks down mannan sugars.
Hemi-Cellulase	2 mg	Breaks down the hemicellulose of plant walls.
Bromelain	10 mg	Broad spectrum enzyme that hydrolyzes most soluble proteins.
Papain	10 mg	Hydrolyzes large proteins into smaller peptides and amino acids.
