Lycopene

WHAT IS IT?


Lycopene is a carotenoid (plant pigment) which colors fruits and vegetables a red color. It is particularly found in tomatoes, watermelon and guava. Each capsule contains 5 mg of Lycopene. Other ingredients include rice bran oil, gelatin, glycerin and water and a soft gel capsule.

WHAT DOES IT DO?


Like other carotenoids, Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant. Its singlet oxygen quenching potential is 10 times greater than Vitamin E.

Lycopene is also found in Life Extension Mix.

CAUTIONS


None. If you can eat tomatoes you can eat Lycopene.

DOSE


Take1 to 2 capsules daily. Those with prostate cancer should take 3 capsules twice daily.
