Ayur-Curcumin

WHAT IS IT?


Ayur-Curcumin is an extract of the spice tumeric, found in curry powder. The standardized Tumeric extract contains 90% curcuminoids in 300 mg tablets. Inert ingredients include cellulose, gelatin, vegetable stearate.

WHAT DOES IT DO?


Curcumin has a wide range of health benefits. It is a potent antioxidant and has antiviral, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, wound healing, for vision problems, and cholesterol-lowering effects.

CAUTIONS


Because of the biliary secretion properties of Curcumin, it should not be taken by anyone with a biliary tract obstruction. Take with food as it may upset the stomach. Large doses on an empty stomach may cause an ulcer. Anyone taking Irinotecan (CPT11) chemotherapy for cancer should avoid Curcumin. Do not take if pregnant or nursing.

The usual dose is one capsule daily or as directed.
