Coenzyme A

by Coenzyme A Technologies

WHAT IS IT?

Coenzyme A is Acetyl Coenzyme A Modulators™ precursor formula. Each capsule contains Coenzyme A Modulator Matrix I 1000 mg, which includes pantethine, Calcium pyruvate, Acetyl L-Carnitine and L-Cysteine HCl. It also contains Calcium 41 mg, Magnesium malate 100 mg, Pantothenic acid 80 mg.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

Every cell in the body depends upon energy production to live. Those seeking more energy have sought out elements of the Krebs (TCA) or Citric Acid Cycle which is the generation process of 95% of the body's energy. Among the more famous elements of this cycle are Coenzyme Q10, NADH, Pyruvate, Ribose, and Pantothenic Acid (B5.) All have been used effectively to generate more energy.

The "ignition switch" to this entire process is the most widely used and important enzyme in the body, called Coenzyme A, otherwise known as "The Master Coenzyme." This substance initiates the entire energy production process. All those wonderful substances in the energy cycle are rendered useless. Without it, life ceases to exist.

It has many other functions as well:

• Initiates hundreds of important processes in the body.

• Reduces the damaging effects of stress and slows the deadly processes of aging.

• Initiates the chemical reactions required by the human body to utilize Coenzyme Q10, Coenzyme 1 (NADH/Enada) and many of the other nutrients the body needs to stay healthy.

• Initiates the manufacture of the specific substances that facilitate critical functions of the brain and adrenal glands.

• Supports the development and functions of the male and female sex organs that are essential to human existence.

• Acts as the "universal acetate carrier"; it is the primary biological cofactor used in acyl group transfers. It initiates the metabolism of fatty acids, and supports pyruvate oxidation and other acetylation reactions.

• Supports critical functions of the immune system and facilitates the repair of RNA, DNA and physical injury.

• Facilitates the manufacture of connective tissue and the formation and repair of cartilage.

• Enhances physical performance and reduces the buildup of lactate.

As critical as this enzyme is, it can be inhibited from doing its job by environmental toxins such as heavy metals, lipid epoxides and alkyl halides. For example, Coenzyme A is made in the body from ATP, Cysteine and Vitamin B5.  If homocysteine builds up in the blood, it can block cysteine from contributing to the construction of Coenzyme A.

Coenzyme A cannot be taken in pill form but its precursors (building blocks) can be and that is what this formula does.
