WHAT IS IT? Biotin contains 8000 mcg (8 mg) per capsule. Biotin is a B vitamin which is found in egg yolk, soy, peanuts, mushrooms, oatmeal, and organ meats. Intestinal bacteria also produce Biotin.
WHAT DOES IT DO? Like other B vitamins, Biotin acts as a coenzyme during the metabolism of protein, fats, and carbohydrates. Deficiency is rare although consuming lots of egg whites will create a deficiency.
