Vitamin E

Vitamin E
contains Vitamin E as d-alpha tocopherol 400 IU. It also contains mixed, non-alpha tocopherols, 67 mg. (There are no IU standards for other forms of Vitamin E other than the Alpha form.) Inert ingredients include soybean oil, gelatin, glycerin and water.

 

 

WHAT DOES IT DO?

Vitamin E is the body's primary fat soluble antioxidant. It protects cell membranes and other fatty areas of the body, e.g. the brain. It has proven highly beneficial in numerous conditions.

A mixture of both tocopherols and tocotrienols is found in TocopherAll and Gamma E.

 

CAUTIONS

Toxicity is very rare.

Tell your doctor if you are taking anticoagulants (blood thinners.) Amounts greater than 1200 IU may interfere with the absorption and metabolism of vitamins A and K.

DOSE

Take one sofgel daily for health maintenance. Higher doses may be used for existing health problems.
