WHAT IS IT?
Each tablet of Vectomega® contains Phospholipid Peptide Complex 292 mg. Contains Phospholipids, Omega 3 [DHA (docosahexaenoic) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic)] and hydrolyzed peptides extracted from Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar), in a balanced ratio as found naturally in salmon; not chemically altered or spiked with DHA/EPA. Two tablets provide 43.2 mg of omega-3. The phosholipids include phosphatidylcholine 68%, phosphatidylethanolamine 11%, phosphatidylserine 9%, phosphatidylinositol 5%, and sphingomyelin 5%.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
If you have read Dr. Barry Sears' book, Omega Rx Zone, you know that high dose fish oil is, in his words, "... as close to a medical miracle as we will see in the 21st century.” Getting those high doses of fish oils means swallowing a lot of oil or capsules. There is an easier way, Vectomega is up to 50 times more effective than fish oil. For example, in one study 2 tablets (43.2 mg of omega-3) reduced triglycerides and cholesterol by an amount equivalent to 3,370 mg of fish oil which is 78 times the amount. At the therapeutic dose, 2 tablets (600 mg) of Vectomega® are equal to 16 capsules (7,200 mg) of standard fish oil. Research has shown that because Vectomega®’s marine phospholipids are vectorized with DHA and EPA in a specific location on the carbon chain (Sn-2 on the glycerol), Vectomega® is 50 times more absorbable via cell membranes.
This is the end result of a French government research project.
