WHAT IS IT?
Taurox High Potency Pellets is a homeopathic remedy with Tauroxicum (carbobenzoxy beta-alanyl taurine [COBAT] 3X (26%), 6X (37%), and 9X (37%). Other ingredients are Sucrose (80%), Lactose (20%).
WHAT DOES IT DO?
According to the manufacturer:
"Taurox High Potency is a homeopathic immune optimizer containing trillions of therapeutic molecules per dose. It modulates the immune system to decrease fatigue and allow more effective immune responses. It is not an acute stimulant; it does not contain caffeine or herbal stimulants.
Initial clinical trials have shown that up to 90% of users with moderate to severe fatigue experienced a reduction in fatigue after taking Taurox, for 3-6 weeks or longer.The effect may continue to increase with time. This immunomodulating preparation has also been reported to be helpful during times of cold, flu or allergies. Taurox modulates cytokines, has an adaptogenic effect on the immune system, and is nonadrenergic.
Some people report more vivid dreams and a deepening of sleep along with reduced fatigue.Some people report immediate benefit, while some find the benefit builds up gradually."
CAUTIONS
Keep out of reach of children. Should not be taken with immunosuppressive agents. The effects will be inhibited by steroids or other prescription immunosuppressive agents. Should not be taken by patients who have had an organ transplant. It may worsen autoimmune disease. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Do not use in children under 15 years of age. Not intended for use as a substitute for sleep.
Some report a cleansing or Herxheimer reaction associated with various reversible, and generally mild, symptoms such as headaches, joint aches and unusual feelings in the chest. If you notice this, contact your physician and skip 2 days and restart with one pellet every other day. Increase periodically but not so fast as to cause symptoms. Stay at a comfortable level. In homeopathy the presence of initial symptoms is believed to indicate it is the appropriate medicine for you and will be very helpful once the right dose is found. Most frequently the benefits start slowly and improvement is gentle and progressive and without any unwanted symptoms. Initial improvement may be subtle and not observed until completion of one month of therapy.

DOSE
Adults and children over 15 years of age: Completely dissolve 3 pellets under tongue each morning, or as directed by a health professional. You might get the full benefit from a smaller dose. Pellets can be taken all at the same time or throughout the day, preferably at least 6 hours prior to bedtime. Leave the pellets in your mouth for 30 seconds before swallowing. Do not eat or drink 5 minutes before or after taking the product.
