WHAT IS IT?
Royal Peruvian Strong Back Formula contains Desmodium, an herb that is variously called "Back Relax," "Strong Back," and Amor Seco. It is derived from the dried stems and leaves of a tropical, South and Central American vine, Desmodium adscendens. It is also found in Africa in Sierra Leone and Liberia. It is rich in indolic alkaloids such as tryptamine.
Each serving (0.8 ml or 1 squirt) contains Desmodium adscendens leaves and stems 1:1 extract. Magnesium (as citrate) 25 mg (ml) 6%. Other ingredients are vegetable glycerin, purified water.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Thisrainforest herb has been used by native peoples for many purposes. Science is confirming their efficacy for liver repair, normalization of liver enzymes, antihistamine effects, and bronchial dilation. It is traditionally used for muscle and tendon pain due to exercise. According to the manufacturer:
"This alcohol-free liquid extract contains Strong Back herb and magnesium citrate. It relieves back and knee pain (due to muscle spasm/trauma) as well as menstrual cramps by relaxing uterine spasms and lower back spasms."
