WHAT IS IT?
Each 2 tablets of Metagest®
contains Betaine HCl 1300 mg and Pepsin
(porcine) 90 mg. Other Ingredients: Stearic
acid, microcrystalline cellulose, cellulose, silica, magnesium stearate, and
coating (deionized water, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethelene glycol, and
carrageenan).
WHAT DOES IT DO?
According to the manufacturer:
"Metagest features betaine HCl combined with pepsin—a proteolytic enzyme—to complement the natural production of digestive agents in the stomach."
CAUTIONS
If pregnant or nursing consult
a health care professional.
Do not use if there is a prior history of or a
current peptic or duodenal ulcer. Discontinue use if stomach discomfort
occurs.
