WHAT DOES IT DO?
According to the manufacturer:
"Normal, healthy individuals have islets of beta cells in their pancreas that secrete insulin, which then enters the bloodstream. Insulin acts on cells to facilitate the entry of glucose, where it can be utilized within each cell as energy. When the pancreas decreases its production of insulin or when cells become resistant to the insulin that is produced, glucose cannot effectively enter cells and therefore cannot be used as energy.
