WHAT DOES IT DO?

DHA is an important component of the nutrition we receive through the placenta and from breast milk. Later, we receive it from dietary sources such as oily fish, whole eggs, and organ meats. Most Americans do not get enough DHA and the breast milk of American women contains among the lowest levels in the world of DHA. This is important because studies show that breast fed babies have higher IQ's than bottle fed babies. The reason is DHA in breast milk. DHA is critical to formation and function of brain cells and the retina of the eye. Pregnant or lactating women should be sure to get enough DHA. At least 85% of Americans are deficient in Omega-3's.

For more information about Omega-3's see Flax oil.

Fish oil is available in a creamy orange pudding also called Coromega.
