WHAT IS IT?

Chewable Licorice is deglycyrrhizinated licorice root extract (DGL) 500 mg per wafer. Other ingredients include fruit sugar, steric acid, and Beflora (soy and fos complex.)
 

WHAT DOES IT DO?

Licorice has many important properties and uses primarily related to stomach problems. It is anti-inflammatory, it heals and protects mucous membranes and it is antiviral. It is also a strong antioxidant and protects liver cells.

This form of licorice has the ingredient that causes electrolyte problems removed from it.

CAUTIONS

DGL has no side effects barring allergy to it. Anyone with an ulcer should be treated by a physician.

DOSE

Chew 1 or 2 wafers before meals or as recommended by a health practitioner.
