WHAT IS IT?
BETAMax is Beta 1,3 D Glucan. The capsules contains either 500 mg or 100 mg of Beta Glucan derived from the cell walls of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Other ingredients may include magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
According to the manufacturer:
"Beta 1, 3, D glucan now improved and more highly purified with removal of fatty acids. This was done to increase purity, palatability, synergistically and quality of product. Beta 1, 3, D glucan is derived form bakers yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae. An important food supplement reported to support immune function against chronic diseases, cancer, flu, viruses, bacteria, parasites, radiation, stress, intense exercise, and diabetes."

Do not use if pregnant or nursing without physician consent.

DOSE
For adults, take 1 capsule of the 500 mg daily to maintain immune competence, preferably on an empty stomach. Serious health problems require 2 capsules twice daily. For children, take the 100 mg capsule.
