WHAT IS IT?


Each capsule of Berberine 200 mg contains Berberine 200 mg from Berberine sulfate 250 mg (Extracted from Berberis Aristata). Other ingredients: Rice powder. May contain Ascorbyl Palmitate and/or Silica, Vegetable capsule.

WHAT DOES IT DO?


According to the manufacturer:

"BERBERINE is derived from the plant Berberis aristata, and is supplied as an extract as Berberine Sulfate. Berberine has traditionally been used to support regular and normal bowel function in healthy individuals."

CAUTIONS


Berberine is non-toxic in the doses usually given. Avoid if pregnant or nursing. Large doses for more than 6 weeks can cause liver problems. it can cause hpokalemia, dysbiosis, and damage to the intestinal lining.
